Stories that can change your life.

This summer we are going through some of the Bible stories. Seeing how God worked in their lives and how through these stories our lives can change. The story of David is a great example. We first meet David as a youth. He was the shepherd for the family since he was the youngest. We see Davids faith and trust in the Lord grew while he was in the fields with the flocks. Because David experinced God in everyday life we see he had a faith that was unshakable. A faith so strong that he faced a giant and won. We also see through David what real friendship looks like. The story of David and Johnathon is about a friendship that is strong and unbreakable. No matter the circumstance or situation their friendship lasted even after Johnathon was killed. David took care of his son. The story of David also shows us a vulnerable man. A man who became king and fell for his fleshly desires. Then we see his repentance for his sins and how God forgave and restored David. This story can change your life. God is in the business of restoring lives. A God who wants you to know Him and be a part of Him.

The ultimate story that can change your life is the one about Jesus. God's only Son . Who He sent to this earth to reunite all mankind to Him. This is a great love and redemption story. God shows us His love by sending Jesus to this world so that who ever believes in Him would be saved and would have everlasting life. Jesus came to this world not only to show us Gods love but to also to bring all who believes into the presence of God. Jesus is the bridge over the gap that has separated us from God since the first sin of Adam and Eve. Jesus came so we might have life. He came to take the punishment for our sins. Your sins. Jesus died on the cross. He was buried then on the third day He rose from the grave. Once for all defeating death. Now Jesus is preparing a place for all who believes in Him. The greatest story that can change your life.

Then we see the stories of Peter , John and Paul. Who went though trials and torture for their faith in Jesus and never backing down on their belief or faith in Jesus. They wrote how we as believers need to stay true to our faith and not fall to false teachings. Their stories can change our lives. God gives us these stories to impact our lives. So we can find Him in the fog of this world.

But the Stories doesn't stop there. There are people around us that can share how God has worked in their lives. They can share how God has changed their story. Sometimes we call them praise time. Some even call these God sightings. Maybe you are the one who has a story of how God has changed your life. Share your story who knows maybe it is your story the helps them to find and believe in the living God.
